Healing the Wounds of History Experiential Workshop

We are excited to announce a call for participants at Healing the Wounds of History Experiential Workshop exploring the historical legacy of the Armenian Genocide and the process of the wounding connected with the war 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh/Artsakh.

During our time together we will explore the Armenian historical/ancestral legacies of trauma and resilience and how they manifest in their daily lives. How can we take steps towards healing personal and collective wounds? How can we convert historical trauma into constructive action? Drama therapy, expressive arts, and Psychodramatic and Sociodramatic processes will be utilized to explore these questions.

Produced by the San Francisco, CA-based nonprofit, Healing the Wounds of History, the workshop will be facilitated by the founder and the director, psychotherapist and drama therapist Armand Volkas. Assisted by the Drama Therapy program trainees.
